Time flew. With a blink of an eye, its been two months plus now I'm here. Lot's of things happened in this two months and a lot of things gained too. If you ask me, how do I do? Generally I'll say I'm feeling awesome. Work stress is always there. But do you dare to tell me what kind of work is without stress? Stress is important too to keep you driven.
Let me just summarized what I've been up too. Let's skip the details. I am still catching up with my work, but everything is getting better. Do I adjust well here? I bet I do. I dont find any reason to leave by the way. Everything is promising. I have just started my project. Pretty much keeping an eye on my project all the time. At the same time, involve with anything came up with the company's schedule. So far, had met a lot of people, different kind of people, locals and foreigners. It had thought me well to being able to talk with people i just knew. To build that confidence is not easy. Like I said, Im working on it. But as I reflect back, being at this age, I have to deal with important people and I am new with the company, I think i deserve the credit to say I am brave enough to go out and to deal with it. It is really..really not simple, and I really need to know and be good at what Im doing. It's going to be a lot of hard work, but its okay, because hard work is the key to success.
I have been sick. The reason of being sick is unknown. Being very well the day earlier, the next thing I know I woke up in the middle of the night with an upset stomach and start vomitting. I have been happy as well. I am touched by the hospitality the people here gave me. I am touched by the respect i get too. My colleagues are fun. I mean, we can make fun of ourselves and do silly things together (of course that happens during non-working hours) and that doesnt make life bored here. During work, how I adore their professionalism and wide knowledge. I like the informal working environment and I kinda like the minute we can make ourselves like an idiot doing silly stuff but the fact is that we are actually a bunch of people who are actually doing serious business and professionals. Its fun. Everyday is interesting actually.
So I've been sick, happy and at peace. So what not to like? It means I can stand this place, right? haha
xoxo,
